On 3 October 1963, Lee Oswald arrived in Dallas Texas, from Mexico City, Mexico.

And took a room at the YMCA. He saw Marine the next day and decided to rent a room which he did for about one week.

On 14 October 1963, Oswald rented a room at 1026 North Beckley in the Oak Cliff section of Dallas under the alias O. H. Lee, the housekeeper there was Earlene Roberts.

Coincidentally another person that resided in the Oak Cliff Section of Dallas was Jack Ruby.

The Warren Commissions would learn of many reported sighting of Lee Oswald in the company of Jack Ruby Prior to 22 November, and specific sightings in Ruby’s Carousel Club. But as the Commissions would put it ( Frequently those responsible for the allegations have proved to be persons of erratic memory or dubious mental stability.)

The Warren Commission would also learn of other possible links between Oswald and Ruby, such as.

( 1 ). John Carter a boarder at the Beckley rooming house was friendly with Ruby’s close friend and employee Wanda Killam.

( 2. ) Oswald’s landlady, Earlene Robers who’s sister Bertha Cheek, meet with Ruby at his nightclub on 18 November 1963.

( 3. ) William F. Simmons, a piano player at the Carousel Club, lived at 2539 West Fifth Street, in Irving Texas, just blocks from where Marine lived with Ruth Paine at 2115 West Fifth Street.

These possible links where investigated by the Warren Commission, no finding of direct or indirect contacts between Oswald and Ruby were reported.

On the same day that Oswald rented the Beckley room, Ruth Paine after a suggestion of a neighbor, called the Texas School Book Depository and was told that there was a job opening. Oswald had an interview there the next day and was hired.

On 20 October, Marina gave birth to their second daughter.

During this period Lee began a pattern of commuting with Frazier to the Paine household in Irving, on Fridays and returning to Dallas on Mondays. He would also make frequent calls there on weeknights.

Shortly after Lee’s return from Mexico City, the CIA informed the FBI of his visit to the Soviet Embassy there.
