It now appears the American intelligence agencies may have incorporated the assistants of the Mafia. Which would be nothing new. During WW II the CIA then known, as the OSS required their assistants In providing information about country/s in central Europe, This time they made contact with Robert Maheu a former FBI agent who was now in charge of Howard Hughes’s Las Vegas holdings.
And so started this alliance to try to eliminate Castro.

LEE HARVEY OSWALD JFK ASSASSINATION FILES CIA.

Back in New Orleans Lee Oswald and his FPCC. may have had some strange alliances. In May 1963 when Oswald wrote to the FPCC. an organization centered in New York which was highly critical of U.S. policy toward the Cuban Government under Fidel Castro. Lee stated that he had been thinking about renting a small office at my own expense for the purpose of forming a FPCC. branch here in New Orleans.

When he had his leaflets printed up, it was stamped with a CIA account number. And the address he used on one of the batches of leaflets was 544 Camp St. which also housed one Guy Banister who was a retired FBI agent from Chicago, A conservative a leading member of the John Birch Society and probably involved in attempts to overthrow Castro. The address he used was 531 Lafayette Street, which was in the same building as the 544 Camp St address.

Any connection between Oswald and Banister would be disturbing in light of the events on 22 November 1963. And there are many eyewitnesses that have come forward with allegations of that connection.

There are also Allegations that a CIA agent, one E. Howard Hunt, also had an offices in that building. Where Hunt apparently had set up a front operation called the Cuban Revolutionary Council.
Hunt would later become infamous for his part in the Watergate burglaries. During the Nixon administration.

And There’s another Watergate connection in all of this.
At first the American government was backing the guerrilla forces led by Fidel Castro. And one of Castro’s comrades was also a CIA informant. Frank Sturgis, who discovered that Castro was also being backed by the Soviet Union.

Sturgis would also become infamous as a Watergate burglar.

Any one familiar with the Nixon tapes has heard one of the most incriminating, Where Nixon informs one of his aids that he wants the CIA to inform the FBI That the Watergate break-in was a "CIA Cuban Operation", not a Whitehouse Operation.

The Watergate Hotel and office complex that housed the Democratic National Committee Headquarters. They where found in a psychiatrist’s office that contained files on Daniel Ellsberg, the same Daniel Ellsberg that leaked the Pentagon Papers and helped bring an end to the Vietnam fiasco.
